If you answer YES - then allow the coaches and team riders from SLINGSHOT and MYSTIC to build your foundation in the ART of RIDING with POWER. The Pro Coaching Staff, headed by Chris Wardell and presenting arguably one of the world's best RAIL Riders and king of STEEZ in SLINSGSHOTS very own Josh O'Connell along guest riders from Go Wake and SLINGSHOT you are sure to come away from the two days with and edge over every other rider! You will learn the secrets of riding with power and style, walking away with an attitude towards focusing your riding on style, commitment, progression and STEEZ!

You will learn about:

GEAR SELECTION and tips.
SAFETY - how to stay out of trouble and strategies to recover if you don't
ELEMENTS - wind and water conditions
BASICS BEFORE WATER ENTRY - What you need to know before hitting the water
CORE ELEMENTS - key principals including , body position, stance, board control drills
KITE POSITIONING - where to put your kite to initiate each move
BASIC MOVES  - base inverts inc back rolls, Raley, tantrum, fronts plus
ADVANCED MOVES - inc kicker and rail based tricks, mobius, S-bends, landing blind and fakie plus
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING - specific to boarding

Prerequisite skills
This is a not a beginner clinic. You must be able to Stay upwind, ride heelside and toeside, have full kite control, able to water relaunch etc.

Format
The clinic is a mix of theory and cable and kiteboarding sessions. In the theory sessions Coaches will use DVD?s and whiteboards to explain different concepts. The riding sessions begin at the ?Go Wake Cable Park?, Bli Bli with an initial assessment of your skill level on day one. You are then grouped with riders of similar ability and will receive coaching based on your needs. You will also be filmed so you can see the areas of your riding that that can be developed. Each person will have the opportunity to get some one on one coaching with all coaches. Riders will also have the opportunity to media coverage through KiteBoarder Magazine (KBM) and image training from the editor of KBM to help riders build profiles to assist with sponsorship programs.
If the wind does not blow in the afternoons then we return to the Cable park for further tuition. Either way, the days will end at Go Wake Cable Park, Bli Bli.
