Andy Yates ripping it up in a secret flat water spot
Andy's back home on the Sunshine coast this week, making the most of the honkin' south westerlies hitting QLD at the moment. This is a top secret location, with butter flat water and clean wind in the (usually) gusty, cold westerly winds that hamper QLD and northern NSW this time of year.
Can you guess where it is? Nope? No worries - it's on the southern tip of Bribie island, Check it out on Google earth and look for the giant sandbar that faces exactly the right direction for a South Wester, and next time you think 'hmmm, the winds a little gusty today' - head to this spot and get a flat water fix...
