Early Saturday morning Mt Hotham kindly turned on some great kiting weather for nearly 200 new Snow Kiters to take to the hills and participate in Australia's newest and most exciting new sport, Snow Kiting!!!

With up to 12 kites in the air at any one time and Mt Feathertop providing the perfect backdrop for the event, Australia's newest sport was embraced by all on the mountain.

Alex and Johnathon from Kite Republic joined Chris on the mountain for the weekend and excited the nearly 200 participants and even more spectators over the two days in providing top quality free snowkiting lessons.

Thankyou very much to Alex, Johnathon for their time great instruction, leading to all participants experiencing the thrill of Snow Kiting.

Thanks also to Nic, DJ Searly, Malena, Michelle, Geoff from Australian Adventure Experiences, Tom from Feed the Rat and the whole Hotham Crew that were involved in making the Mt Hotham Kitefest 2007 such a great success.
