The Fishcare Volunteer Program is on the hunt for anglers interested in joining the NSW Government program.

A two-day training session is planned for 15-16 August in Bathurst which will include presentations by the Department of Primary Industries and TAFE training in fish biology and species identification.

Volunteers are responsible for a range of fishing related activities such as educating the community on ethical fishing practices; fishing workshops for young kids; assistance with trade shows, surveys and other research projects.
