Race 1 scheduled start time has now passed- Friday (today) 12 noon (CET) 11am GMT, 6am US EC time, 3am PST, 10pm AEST, midnight NZL - another delay. Waiting for the wind to settle

The AP (Postponement flag is up). The wind at the Committee (start) boat is now westerly around six knots whereas 20 miles up wind its north north east. Harold Bennett the PRO has request the top mark be moved.

Sail-World will be streaming the official event feed. (when it actually happens)

(Depending on the actual start time, the action maybe on Cable, via Eurosport. However with a delayed start Eurosport has switched away to cycling.)

Today is the third attempt to get Race 1 of the 33rd America's Cup away as a prospect of a window of suitable weather to allow the windward-leeward course comprising two 20-miles legs is anticipated, although Valencia was subjected to some brisk, chilly northerly winds on Thursday.

A postponement was signalled in the early evening last night which meant no start sequence will be before 1154hrs (LOCAL)
