Velux 5 Oceans British solo sailor Chris Stanmore-Major made a clean sweep of the sprint two media awards last night at the official prize-giving ceremony. The 33-year-old won all three media prizes for best conveying the highs and the lows of The Ultimate Solo challenge through blogs, photographs and videos during the 7,500 nautical mile leg between Cape Town and Wellington. Stanmore-Major, known as CSM, was awarded ?5,000 for his efforts which included filming a video of his passage through the Cook Strait in more than 40 knots of wind and huge seas.
