Velux 5 Oceans update. Christophe Bullens is due to set sail from the Cape Verde Islands today after being given the all-clear by a doctor. The 49-year-old Velux 5 Oceans skipper was forced to divert to the port city of Mindelo on the island of Sao Vicente yesterday after developing an infection in his groin as well as a fever. After several days of feeling unwell Christophe was advised by the Velux 5 Oceans medical team from Medical Support Offshore to pull into port and seek advice from a doctor.
