Velux 5 Oceans - Brad Van Liew has joined forces with Cape Wind, the developer of America's first offshore wind farm. Cape Wind will be an Eco Partner for Brad's Velux 5 Ocean campaign, in which he aims to sail round the world solo without using fossil fuels. The Velux 5 Ocean has a strong emphasis on sustainability, having introduced the Eco 60 class which 'recycles' Open 60 yachts built before 2003. The rules of the class limit dependency on fossil fuels. Brad will get power on his Eco 60 yacht Le Pingouin from two revolutionary hydrogenerators ...
