Try Crewing Day, an initiative of the BIA NSW, has been held at five Clubs around the state, attracting people keen to get a hands-on taste of crewing and sample the Club-lifestyle for themselves. Held Sunday 12 September at RANSA at Rushcutters Bay, Royal Motor Yacht Club in Port Hacking, the Middle Harbour Yacht Club in Mosman, the Gosford Sailing Club and the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club in Wickham, the first annual Try Crewing Day aimed to bring some new blood to Clubs, involving people in the varied facets of club competition and social sailing.
