Top life saving organisation gets better yet

'Elias brings his database inhouse' .

The Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue (NSSR), the organisation whose official mascot is Elias the Little Rescue Boat, has purchased its own boat marking company. This will assist with its work of uniquely marking every boat in Norway and running a database of the owners and points of first contact in emergencies. The company it has bought is called Securmark AS, and the purchase will bring its database directly under its control and assist in improving safety for Norway's hundreds of thousands of boat owners. NSSR runs a register for pleasure boats in Norway, and covers more than 180,000 boats ...
