10 June, 2010 This afternoon Derek Hatfield will sail into Lunenburg, Nova Scotia with the new ECO 60 Spirit of Canada. He will arrive with a crew of 3 as part of his first training session in preparation for his third single handed race around the world beginning in France later this year. After 14 days of sailing from France to Lunenburg the crew and skipper can almost smell the coast and look forward to being on shore with the comforts of home rather than the sparse out-fittings of this ocean racing boat.
