Fourteen-year-old Dutch sailor Laura Dekker has announced she will sail away from the Netherlands on Wednesday, sailing with her father to Portugal, from where she will start her solo sail around the world. She has announced no date for her solo start, but it is expected to be within the next couple of weeks after she has completed some test sailing.
