It was another relatively fine, winter long weekend in most areas of the NSW coast - with a few windy exceptions, and the volunteers from Marine Rescue NSW had a typical three days on duty. Some areas were quiet with only the local Marine Rescue vessels taking advantage of a training opportunity, some radio bases had only a handful of log-ons for a day trip, while others had the usual calls for help with minor, but still potentially risky emergencies.
