World Match Racing Tour event, Stena Match Cup Sweden in Marstrand, has appointed the new Elliott 6 as the boat for the women's class. The decision to use the same racing boats as the Olympic Games in London 2012 will create a pinnacle event for women's match racing. Women's match racing, which in the 2012 London Olympics will be sailed for the first time, has developed into the crown sailing class for women.
