Solo sailor record-seeker forced to make massive weather detour

French solo sailor Thomas Coville onboard the mai trimaran Sodebo is attempting to break Francis Joyon's IDEC solo Round-the-World Record - the Jules Verne Trophy record. However, having set off to tackle the record some 52 days ago and been dogged by contrary weather, the skipper of Sodebo is having to face yet another meteorological barrier on his journey back to Europe.
