After a promising start to the Second Stage Round Robin racing this morning with one completed flight, the westerly breeze caved in to nothing for the remainder of today's second day of competition at the 71st Richardson Trophy, sailed at Chicago Match Race Center (CMRC). Regatta Chairman Scott Spaeth of the Yacht Racing Union of the Great Lakes (YRUGL), along with Regatta Manager Mary Anne Ward of CMRC, Chief Umpire David Pelling, and Principal Race Officer Jarod Silverman collectively decided based on tomorrow's similar forecast that the competition would advance to the next Stage based on Round Robin results completed ...
