Saturday, August 21st, 21 skippers crossed the starting line of the third Solo Valcour race. The course was shortened from its usual 12 miles to 8 miles due to light winds. In the end, Alex de Greef, skipper of Osprey, an Older Catalina 27, took the overall honours as well as first place in class C. Shaka, a X95 and skippered by Leonard Cormier, came in second overall and first in B class.
