Nominations for the 2010 Australian Yachting Awards have closed with a record number of nominations received and the winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner in Sydney on 15 October. Yachting Australia received 75 nominations from across the country for the eight award categories in the 2010 awards. Each nomination recognises outstanding achievements by Australians in the sport of sailing during the period 1 August 2009 to 15 August 2010.
