First there was the journey, and now there is the book. Banking heir David de Rothschild dreamed up the idea of sailing across the Pacific Ocean on a yacht made entirely (well, almost entirely) of 12,500 plastic bottles, to draw attention to the issue of plastic bottles in our world. In 2010, David, jack-of-all-trades environmentalist, sailed from San Francisco to Sydney, Australia, on his boat, which was held together by cashew-nut glue.
