Aid agencies have again pleaded to the world community, which has been slow to donate, to give much-needed funds to the various charities aiding flood-ravaged Pakistan. David Cook from Plan Australia says an assortment of reasons could be at the heart of the world's slow response. 'It could be for political reasons, religion, or disaster fatigue. People compared the death tolls of Haiti and the Tsunami and at this stage, the death toll is 3000 in Pakistan. But that number will rise incredibly in the next six months once disease gets hold.'
