'Med mooring- a challenge if you have not tried it - one of the subjects of the online cruising assistance' .

Those from other cruising grounds who have sailed the Mediterranean will know how valuable advance information of its quirks and idiosyncrasies can be. Some very interesting online information has just been made available by the Cruisers Network Online. As usual with this ever-helpful organisation, the information has been simply provided by a member.

The following information regarding cruising in Europe has been added to the FILES section of the Cruisers Network Online (CNO). This information was kindly provided by Milt & Judy Baker of the M/V Bluewater.

1. Cruising European Waters by Walter R. Paul, June, 2006, published by the Cruising Club of America. This is a 58 page pdf file with valuable information regarding cruising in European waters.

2. Med Mooring by Jack Tyler of the S/V Whoosh, Oct, 2006. This is a 16 page guide in Word format regarding Med mooring techniques.

3. Propane in Europe by Jack Tyler of the S/V Whoosh, Nov 03. This is an 11 page guide to Using a North American LPG system in Europe,(but will give clues for those with other systems as well.)
