No MOB, no dismasting, just a poisonous cobra

'Cobra at the yacht club - not your normal sailing incident' .
Danger at yacht clubs is usually imagined to come from incidents at sea, but personnel at the Thorpe Bay Yacht Club acted with well trained precision when a poisonous cobra was sighted curled around some bike handlebars at the Club. The area around the yacht club was cleared after two community support police officers, who owned the bikes, reported the sighting. Luckily it was a Wednesday, so it wasn't as difficult to do as if it had been a weekend. With the area secured, they then called a wild animal expert Iain Newby, the owner of Dangerous Wild Animal Rescue ...
