No. 1 sailor Jessica Watson has become a No. 1 author this week, when Hachette Australia announced that the teenage sailor's memoir of her recent voyage had become the biggest selling book in Australia. Demonstrating just how Australians had taken Jessica and her story of her round world voyage to heart, they purchased more than 10,000 copies of her book True Spirit in 10 days, the book publisher announced. The latest Nielsen BookScan, based on data from 1000 retailers nationwide, shows True Spirit at No.1 for the week ending August 7. The book is based on the blogs Jessica wrote ...
