NSW Police search for missing Shoalhaven Heads sailor

The NSW Police Force resumed resumed the search to find a lone yachtsman and his vessel after failure to arrive in Wollongong as was planned yesterday. The 57-year-old sailor set sail from Port Hacking on his 23-foot yacht en route to Wollongong yesterday morning. Concerns are held for the man's welfare due to the condition of the yacht which he has only recently purchased. The man's friend notified police after attempts to contact him were unsuccessful and then he failed to arrive as scheduled. An extensive search was conducted last night by emergency services, however, the vessel was not located. ...
