Kieler Woche opened to a cold, stiff wind and three tough races for the Finn fleet. European Champion Ivan Kljakovic Gaspic (CRO) leads the 55 boat fleet, while race wins went to Jan Kurfeld (GER) and Rafa Trujillo (ESP). Kieler Woche is the sixth and penultimate leg of the 2010 ISAF Sailing World Cup. Sailing began with a one hour postponement ashore because a coastal race had to cross the racing area.
