The sweetest time of the year to go south is when the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, these days better known for its racing, is starting its rendezvous cruising to Tasmania. There's still time to join the intimate cruising event, which will not only sail to Tasmania, but enjoy the beauty of the stops along the way, and then choose an easy weather window to cross Bass Strait.
