'International One Metre World Championships 2011'

International One Metre Class World Championships took place this past week at the West Kirby Sailing Club in Great Britain. The event was graced with an international fleet of 22 nations that gathered from as far afield as Argentina, Brazil, New Zealand, Canada and Israel to name a few. As is common amongst radio sailing events with a higher number of races, consistency was the key and Peter Stollery (GBR) proved to be the most consistent and he was crowned as the champion ahead of former World Champion Brad Gibson in second.
