Californian Abby Sunderland is showing her stoic nature as the Indian Ocean proves challenging for the sixteen-year-old sailor who is out to become the youngest circumnavigator ever, sailing on her Open 40 Wild Eyes. A working autopilot and fair winds made for smooth sailing on her few hours back at sea after a pit stop in Cape Town, South Africa, made necessary because her autopilots were both causing trouble.
