'Sunsail Summer Bonus - yacht charters in the Whitsundays' Kim Silcock
It's not often you get something for nothing but the world's largest sailing holiday company is giving away free nights!

If you fancy sailing around the beautiful Whitsunday Islands for a few days or a week, now is the time, as Sunsail Sailing Holidays is giving away bonus nights for Whitsunday departures between January 9 and March 31.

If you pay for three or four nights, you receive one bonus night free and if you pay for five nights, you receive two free nights*, meaning you can be sailing for a whole week at just a fraction of the cost!

Sunsail guests also get the added bonus of the use of a free marina berth on vibrant Hamilton Island throughout their stay with shops, restaurants and activities on offer.

"We know things can be tight after Christmas for some people and especially after such a challenging year," said Sunsail Sailing Holidays' marketing manager Kim Silcock.

"But that shouldn't stop people from having a well-earned break! Not only are we reducing our minimum charter but we're also giving guests additional time on the water free of charge. It makes a week's sailing break in the wonderful Whitsundays very affordable.

"Repeat customers can also use their loyalty discount of up to 10 per cent to make it even less. Some charterers will be sailing for as little as $75 per person per night!"

Sunsail Sailing Holidays is based on Hamilton Island in the heart of the cruising ground, so guests can be at their first overnight anchorage within hours of stepping off the plane.

Guests are picked up at Hamilton Island airport in the air-conditioned courtesy bus and taken to the base just three minutes away, where they receive a thorough and easy-to-understand briefing on the boat's state-of-the-art systems and equipment.

Sunsail can even provision the boat and have it all ready-to-go following the briefing, so guests can literally be out of the marina within a couple of hours of landing.

A wide choice of catamarans and monohulls are available to suit all group sizes and budgets, and non-sailors can hire a Sunsail skipper to show them the ropes. The twice-daily radio contact with Sunsail's expert staff ensures guests are always in safe hands.
