Ficker Cup gets upgrade and rescheduled with Congressional Cup

U.S. Match racing news this week. It begins with the announcement of the upgrade of the Ficker Cup from an ISAF Grade 3 event to a Grade 2 in 2011. This three day event hosted by Long Beach Yacht Club offers the winner an invite to the next Congressional Cup, North America's only Open Grade 1 event. But in 2011 the winner won't have long to wait with the Ficker Cup date being changed to coincide with Congressional Cup. Only one day will now separate the final day of Ficker Cup, March 17-20, and the first day of Congressional Cup, ...
