With her boat Guppy 'crammed full of boxes of food and beverages', Laura Dekker, the 15-year-old Dutch/New Zealander sailor who wouldn't take no for and answer from the Dutch authorities, is on the next leg of her much anticipated circumnavigation - from the Canary Islands to the Cape Verde Island, at 800 nautical miles, about a week's sail. Like the migrating sailors she shares her cruising route with, she waited for almost three months in the Canary Islands for the hurricane season to finish in the Atlantic.
