If you have a special recipe for toasting trout or your yabbies are not too shabby, Fisheries Victoria would like to hear from you. An online recipe competition between now and 30 October will culminate in a cook-off between finalists in November. Executive Director of Fisheries Victoria, Anthony Hurst, says the competition is a celebration of the range of fresh fish from inland waters that is available to the Victorian public - through both recreational fishing and aquaculture. Entrants will need to submit a recipe which features one of the diverse species available in Victoria's inland fisheries,' Mr Hurst said. ...
