200 boats started racing in the Cork OCR today, Saturday August 21st. This year, the event includes the Seiko Canadian Championship for the Olympic 49er class skiff and the Seiko North American Championship for the 29erXX class skiff. The Laser and Laser Radial classes, both on the Olympic program for 2012, are competing for world ranking points as the event is an ISAF (International Sailing Federation) grade one events for both classes.
