A brand new environmental program to be officially launched in Gladstone recently sees commercial fishers teaming up with the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority to help protect the Great Barrier Reef for the future. The Reef Guardian Fishers pilot program showcases the good environmental work fishers are undertaking to help protect the Reef and encourages others in the industry to get involved in similar activities.
