Clipper 09-10 Round the World Yacht Race - Race 12, Cape Breton Island to Kinsale, Ireland. On day 5 Cork sustained minor damage after coming off a large wave, and Spirit of Australia narrowly avoided a large whale. A major milestone of the race has now been reached by many of the skippers and crews with all the teams having passed over the line of longitude which marks their official circumnavigation of the globe.
