Canadian Sailing Team Reunion

'CYA Reunion at RVYC' .

The Canadian Yachting Association and BC Sailing recently re-connect with past members of the Canadian Sailing Team in Vancouver.

The February 20th and 21st reunion saw over 30 former member of the Canadian Sailing Team reunited during the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Invitations had been forwarded to over 200 past Olympic, Pan Am and Canadian Sailing Team members to ensure as many as possible were included.

Activities at the reunion included a formal dinner on the evening of February 20th at Royal Vancouver Yacht Club and, in keeping with the Olympic spirit, attendance at the Russia-Czechoslovakia Olympic Hockey game on the 21st. The event was very successful and will hopefully pave the way for more reunions across the country; CYA is trying to gather as many contacts as possible, for future alumni events.
