IFDS Blind Match Racing Championships day 2 and a steady 15-16 knot easterly greeted the blind and vision impaired sailors competing on Matilda Bay in Perth, Western Australia. Eight more matches were completed in the first round robin before racing was finally abandoned mid afternoon, due to the softening conditions. 'The conditions this morning have been ideal for match racing and enabled the sailors to really show their skills', observed Chief Umpire Founette Pauthier from France.
