Barcelona World Race skippers Jean-Pierre Dick and Lo?ck Peyron, with 100 miles to make to Cape Horn, are a little closer to the land than Mapfre and so are experiencing more unsettled breezes but look to have winds in the region of 35-45kts. But as they get closer the breeze will drop to something closer to 30-35. On current course Virbac-Paprec 3 would pass just three-four miles off the famous Cape, expected at between 1000hrs and 1100hrs UTC. It is -3hrs UTC so Dick and Peyron should pass in early daylight.
