Boating Industry Association Victoria support Mr Tim Pallas MP, with the introduction of the new Marine Act, following the extensive and consultative processes involving the industry and Government to produce a Marine Act that provides for safer boating in Victoria. The Marine Safety Bill is a well-considered and measured response to the need to update Victoria's marine laws and improve safety on the water. BIA Victoria congratulates the Government for having listened carefully to the views of industry stakeholders during the thorough consultation process.
