A decision on the venue for the 34th America's Cup, or an update on the current situation regarding negotiations is expected today 31 December 2010. Reports appearing in US media, stating that San Francisco would be the chosen venue were dismissed as 'pure speculation' by those close to the negotiations. Sail-World has been told that a decision will be available by noon NZT, however organizers have another nine hours past that time to make a statement, in order to comply with the requitrements of the Protocol for the 34th America's Cup, which said the venue would be announced by 31st ...
