Top international photographer, Gilles Martin-Raget, was on the water for the first day of racing in the America's Cup World Series in Cascais, Portugal.
The day got underway with heavy fog and light winds, one race was started and then abandoned just after the fleet had rounded the first mark. After a delay the breeze moved in, and three races were sailed.
