Christchurch Yacht Club looks like it will be technically closed for the season. This season has been eventful in that we opened the season without sailing because of contamination from the September quake. A fortnight ago we had a sewage line break. But we have tried to keep sailing. Tuesday's quake has left our storage shed on the brink of falling into the sea. So we have evacuated the yachts. Rescue boats been removed from our very badly damaged clubhouse. Christchurch Yacht Club has been busy removing all its yachts and rescue craft from the club storage. The club ...
