CYCA in conjunction with St Vincent's Hospital presents:

MEDICAL MANAGEMENT FOR MARINERS


The aim of this course is to provide non-medical skippers and crew information and skills to assist them in assessing and providing immediate and longer term management for casualties and illness at sea, when help is hours or even days away.
This course aims to extend the skills of those holding a current Senior First Aid Certificate for the specific marine environment.

COURSE IS OPEN to all adults who have current Senior First Aid Certificate.

WHEN: Commencing Tuesday 6th October, conducted in 8 sessions over 7 weeks

WHERE: Don Harrison Simulation Centre at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney and one session on board a yacht at the CYCA.

WHAT: The course includes both theoretical and practical components (see attached information sheet for further details).

COST: CYCA Member: $550 Non Member $600
