With the first race cancelled because of lack of wind it doesn't look much better for the rest of this week. The best chance looks to be Tuesday where the forecast is up to 14kts in the morning but as with all forecasts this could change.

The outlook for the week is pretty abysmal with Wednesday when the second race was due to take place not looking any better than Monday. Every day that a race has been scheduled for has a low wind prediction according to Windguru with non race race days blowing much better.

The best days forecasted are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday although whether the organisers will change their program to reflect this is yet to be known. The low wind may play into team Alinghi's hands who's boat is apparently designed to perform better in low wind conditions.

Best wind day predictions
Tuesday 9th Feb @ 10h00 = 14kts
Thursday 11th Feb @ 16h00 = 16kts
Saturday 11th Feb @ 16h00 = 15kts

Current Program
Monday 8 February 2010 from 10 am (CET): First Race
Wednesday 10 February 2010 from 10 am (CET): Second Race
Friday 12 February 2010 from 10 am (CET): Third Race (if required)
