Another Youth Worlds has come and gone. This event started with a whimper and went oiut with a small bang. Istanbul Turkey was our host city and nation. Hot hosts, the Turkish Yachting federation and the people of Istanbul, where gracious and open to the throng of sailors invading this city on two continents. Frustrating breezes and hot weather frustrated organziers and sailors alike. All participants took the situation as it was, sailboat racing, and made the best of the difficult conditions.
